The athanor is the alchemist's eternal furnace — the slow, patient flame from which the Great Work is born. Bind the four primal elements within the Circle of Binding, and watch the world write itself in burning gold.
How to play
Drag elements from the library into the empty slots of the Circle of Binding.
Fill every slot — the channels ignite, race around the crucible, and a new element rises with its true name burning across the board.
At higher ranks the crucible glows when ready — tap it to fire smaller brews without filling every slot.
Click any tile in your library to open its lineage — what made it, what it makes.
Open the Tree to see every discovery branching from the four primal seeds.
Discoveries stay in your library forever. Clear empties the slots; Reset wipes all progress.
Progression
Eight ranks, four alchemical circles. As you rise, the inscribed figure on the board changes and your circle widens — from the twin lens of the Vesica Piscis, to the trinity of the Triquetra, to the four-fold Squaring of the Circle, and finally to the five-pointed Pentacle. Bigger circles unlock deeper recipes that no pair-chain can reach.
